Our Sawdust Sirens are old style acoustic amplifiers for your new phone's speaker. Simply put your phone in and have a listen.

Siren #269: Hornet (photos 1-3): This particular antique/vintage car horn has lots of patina and is approximately 9” tall with a 3.25” bell and married to a spalted beam with all its original knots, cracks and crevices. We filled the major cracks with some resin.

Siren #270: Hey Day (photos 4-6): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9.25” tall with a 6” bell and married to a base made from an unknown piece of wood (perhaps cypress?).

These types of horns used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. The base are finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. If your phone has stereo options you may want to play around with mono and stereo settings to see which you prefer.
