Siren #223: Klaxon (photos 1-4): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9.25” tall with a 5.75” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base. The whole piece is approximately 12” tall x 5.75” wide x 7” deep.

Siren #224: Piccolo (photos 1, 5-7 ):This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9.5” tall with a 3.5” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base. The whole piece is approximately 12” tall x 5”wide x 7” deep.

Siren #225: Buccina (photos 1, 8-10): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 8.5” tall with a 5.75” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base. The whole piece is approximately 11.5” tall x 6” wide x 6.5” deep.

These horns would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. The screen was meant to keep the bugs out of the horn. The base is finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Each Siren is signed on the bottom of the base with the siren # and name.
