Atwater Kent had a strange idea of alphabetizing… His first horn, introduced in 1923, was type M, followed by types L & R in 1924, then this type H in 1925, and finally type G in 1926. We don’t understand his lettering system, but he sold more than 700,000 horn speakers by 1927.
