Siren #132: King of the Acers

Siren #132: King of the Acers

One of our all time favorites- the Atwater Kent Radio Speaker Horn. We haven’t had one of these babies in awhile. The sound from these horns is remarkable!

This is a Model H Atwater Kent Radio Speaker Horn with a green logo. These radio speaker horns were originally manufactured in Philadelphia, PA in the 1920’s. This particular horn can swivel in its base.

King of the Acers is approximately 19” tall with a 14.25” bell. The base is made from a piece of hard maple (acer) that was left on our front porch as a gift. The base is finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil the base occasionally.
