They can be called a rookery, colony, or huddle regardless of location. On the water, a group of penguins is called a raft. On land, a group of penguins is called a waddle, referring to the strange way that they walk.

These little guys are turned from salvaged walnut & oak and turned on our Poolewood lathe. Sometimes they come with an acorn cap hat. Finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & food safe mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil them occasionally to keep their coats nice and shiny.

Approx. 2.75” tall. Our current penguins are made from fallen trees from Tyler Arboretum.

Minor disclaimer: Our Penguins are not cat, dog, or kid proof. Their sweet beaks are fragile. We can perform rhinoplasty when necessary.
