The Barnyard Brood is a group of old car horns that hang out with reclaimed oak barn beam bases. The bases were made from an old barn beam from Montgomery, PA from the 1800s. We bought this fine beam from Ed Buck. This bases have their original cracks, nail holes, and adze marks are were finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & mineral oil). These types of horns used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to them.
