Siren #73: Standard Eddy

Siren #73: Standard Eddy

This type of horn would have been used with an Edison cylinder phonograph.

This particular phonograph horn is black with ten panels and a Thomas Edison “Standard” decal. He also wears a Werners Music House decal from Easton, PA. Werner later moved to Mohnton, PA as your can see in the photo of their holiday record cleaning brush from the 1920’s. The horn stands approximately 31" tall with an 19” bell. The base is octagonal and made from a reclaimed maple.

He now plays music in Philadelphia, PA.
