Siren #27: Big Blue

Siren #27: Big Blue

BIG, Blue and Badass!

This is the largest morning glory phonograph horn we have ever had.

Traditionally phonograph horns were not painted. The oldest phonograph horns would have been made of brass, copper, or painted black. As interior decoration evolved, so did the color of the horns. Many were simply painted over.

This Morning Glory Phonograph Horn has 11 panels, a silver exterior with a blue & yellow interior, and stands at 32” tall with a 25.5” bust. Big Blue is attached to its reclaimed walnut base.

Big Blue was a 1st year wedding anniversary present that currently resides at The Moose in Swarthmore, PA.
